There are three (3) ways to become a member of FRBC:

1.  By BAPTISM

This is acceptable for a person who has been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and desires to further obey Christ by being scripturally baptized by immersion.

It’s as easy as A-B-C:

A - Accept Christ as your Savior.
B - Be Baptized by immersion after salvation.
    C - Complete a Discipleship Training class.

2.  By LETTER from another Baptist Church

This is acceptable for a person who is saved, has been baptized by immersion after he/she was saved, and is a member in good standing of another Baptist church, which will transfer him/her by letter to Franklin Road Baptist Church. At the end of every Sunday service, the pastor will extend an “invitation.” Simply step into the aisle and walk up to the pastor at that time. Tell the pastor you want to become a member of FRBC by TRANSFER OF LETTER from another Baptist Church and he will direct you from there.

3.  By STATEMENT of FAITH

This is accpetable for a person who is saved and has been baptized by immersion after he/she was saved, but is not now a member of another Baptist church. At the end of every Sunday service, the pastor will extend an invitation. Simply step into the aisle and walk up to the pastor at that time. Tell the pastor you want to become a member of FRBC by STATEMENT OF FAITH and he will direct you from there.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship Training is an important component of our ministry to welcome new believers to the membership, whether done in a formal class or completed by the Pastor or the member’s assigned Deacon. This Orientation includes: 1) Salvation, Baptism & The Lord’s Supper; 2) FRBC’s Mission & Core Values; 3) What We Believe & Why, and 4) Organization, Staffing & General Operating guidelines of the Church. These early answers to questions will assist the new believer in developing important spiritual disciplines, like Bible Study and Prayer. Equally important, a new Christian will have a better understanding of how to discover their spiritual gifts and use them in serving Christ.
